dc.description.abstract | It is commonly thought that men and women differ in the extent or frequency with which each exhibit certain traits- especially traits that are frequently perceived to be of managerial relevance ( for example their social role, their organisational role and their cultural role). This leads to influence behaviour of men and women both in the workplace, with many real world consequences, not least of which are those often manifested in the differential treatment of men and women in management positions. | |
