Centre for African Phenomenology

The Centre for African Phenomenology collection in DSpace at the University of Fort Hare provides access to the scholarly and research outputs of the Centre’s staff, researchers, and collaborators. This collection includes research articles, conference papers, reports, and other scholarly publications. The Centre is dedicated to advancing the study of African phenomenology, philosophy, culture, human experience, and African intellectual thought, with a focus on understanding lived experiences and knowledge from African perspectives. Through interdisciplinary research and intellectual engagement, the Centre contributes to critical debates on identity, culture, society, knowledge, and human existence. By preserving and disseminating these resources, the collection supports research, teaching, learning, and scholarly dialogue while promoting African-centred approaches to philosophical inquiry and knowledge production.
