Abstract
The objective of the current study was to determine the self-esteem of people who suffer from schizophrenia. The study was aimed at gaining information about the self-esteem of the
schizophrenic person living in the East-London area and seen by the psychiatrist at Cecilia Makiwane hospital during the year 2008.
