Abstract
We have again to present a summary of the Report of a year's work at Lovedale in all its different sections. Compared with the previous year or years there in, in some matters, little change ; a shade of difference in the numbers, these being a little lower in some divisions and higher in others-the gross numbers being slightly larger: a great advance in the results as tested by Government and other Examinations, and by Standard reached; and a great falling off in most of the trades' departments. Still the Report should begin and end with grateful thanks to God for opportunities of work, and for whatever results may remain as the effect of work done or attempted.
