| dc.description.abstract | This qualitative study explores Bachelor of Education students’ experiences of e-learning at a South African university during the COVID-19 pandemic. Telephonic assisted open-ended interviews, framed by Engeström Activity Theory, showed varied experiences even among students at the same institution. Internet connectivity and access to devices such as laptops and smartphones shaped participation. The study concludes that universities should respond to students’ contextual factors and develop sustainable teaching and learning plans for the post-COVID-19 era. | en_US |
