    On Wednesday the 18th ult. the closing meeting for the year of this institution was held in the New Hall at ten 'o'clock. The chair was occupied by Major Boyes, CC. and RM. of Victoria East. There was the usual large gathering of student's pupils, apprentices, and masters, and visitors from Alice and elsewhere, amongst whom were the Rev. SN. Haskell of New York and Mr MaCgann. The meeting was opened with prayer by the Rev. J. Frederick Philip of Bedford.
