    The following report contains a brief summary of the work done during the past year in the work done during the past year in the different sections in which it is carried on at Lovedale. The year 1880 has had some special features of its own some pleasant and encouraging, and others quite the reverse. The amount of work done during the year in all the departments has been a fair average, while it can hardly be said that the year has been one of special activity or development.
