A year ago, we were able to report some advance on 1880; we are glad to be able to report a still further advance on 1881, in numbers, fees, and standard reached. Some of the changes resolved on last year have been carried out; that affecting prepayment of fees has been only partially successful. We have again to repeat that what is wanted in order to strengthen and render permanent in after life, the work done here, is greater moral earnestness, on the part of those who are taught, and the possession of a steady aim in their work and purpose in life.en
